Arizona’s Glowing Bird

I was very impressed with this CD and I had never heard of Arizona before this, this is their third studio album. They are a band that has a quite unique sound similar to Band of Horses on some songs and similar to folk rock on others. This is a very good CD and seems like a very underrated band. One song, Ghost, seems to respond to Band of Horse’s Is There A Ghost. Both songs have similar lyrics, one asking if there “is a ghost in my house” and one saying “I’m the ghost in your house.” They also have the exact same lyrics “I can sleep.” It’s very interesting and Arizona scores brownie points for hardcore music fans.

    “Ghost” is indeed a response to BOH’s song! Congratulations on being the first to figure that out :D I wanted to call it “There Is a Ghost” but forgot to say something about it before we printed the record :P
